Ali McIntosh BEd BSc ANutr

I grew up as a London gal and now live near Oxford. With a degree in Education and Anthropology I worked as a teacher in a mixed community of people (largely from Sylhet) in Tower Hamlets, London.  A few years on, I specialised in teaching children with profound and multiple learning difficulties in a Special School in Hounslow, also completing a diploma in Severe Learning Difficulties. After moving to the Cotswolds I spent some years concentrating on family life and my chocolate habit. I enrolled at Oxford Brookes University to study for a BSc in Nutrition and graduated with First Class honours. This is a course accredited by the Association for Nutrition (AfN)  and so I am registered as an Associate Nutritionist. I am fully insured and belong to The Nutrition Society, the Soil Association and Garden Organic (The Henry Doubleday Research Association) as well as being a Senior Associate member of the Royal Society of Medicine. When not with a client, at my desk or in the garden I can often be found in the swimming pool or gym at completely unreasonable hours of the morning.
